Why I am not a model

When I recently was asked to do an interview for another blog I was so excited until I read the last line that said “please provide a headshot of yourself” Sweet, I instantly pictured me trying to take a pic of myself 200 times before giving up and then asking my sister to come over and awkwardly try to take one before we would get the giggles and it would only get worse…

So I decided to ask the ever-so-talented Jennifer Nace if she wouldn’t mind doing a quick senior pic session of a 25 year old in her studio!? 🙂 She (luckily) agreed and even suggested doing a little trading of services (YES!!) because she was just in the midst of giving her biz an update on branding and marketing pieces. Win – win situation- she works her magic on the camera and I help with the design pieces! Those of you that know me, know my background is in marketing and I love all the little details and touches that go into branding and what makes a brand/product unique and stand out!

Thought I would share some of the pics she took that I will be using for the interview and then also on my website, blog profile and other places where a professional photo always helps. (another aspect of branding – if your site and brand gives off a polished, professional look then “more than likely” your customers will recognize that that same attention and detail will be put into your products)

Didn’t she do an amazing job!? I cannot praise her, and her work enough!!! She is good, real good and everyone of her customers will let you know that too! All of my babies will be her customers *********someday********  When I mentioned professional, SHE is a professional in her very popular industry, and does those little things that set her apart from others. I can’t forget either, you have to see what I got to help her out with, here is a quick peek of what her customers will receive with their packages from Jen… from thank you notes to little cards with how to care for their images –  all with the same look and feel for a consistent brand!

and one more pic for the week – how about a shout-out to Summer being just around the corner with Memorial Day weekend coming up AND Panera bringing back their strawberry poppyseed with chicken salad- YUM!! Had my first one of the summer last night and I ate every last leaf, it was as good as it looked!
