A typical Minnesota Saturday in January or February may not host as many weddings as a Saturday in July or August, but you can sure find your share of wedding shows! I highly recommend attending a wedding show or two to help jumpstart that plan. Not only does a wedding show have plenty of vendors in one area, but it is also an all around fun day with your mom, future mother in law, sister, bridesmaids or whoever comes with you! From photographers, florists, dj’s, decorators and everything in between it is a great way to cross things off your list or at least get some ideas.
A few weekends ago one of the biggest wedding shows in my area (southern MN) took place on a gorgeous Saturday. I was not a vendor at this show (honestly just didn’t have time as the holidays got the best of me this year, but maybe next year) BUT I did have an awesome opportunity to help out Denise from Imagination at Work Design Studio with her booth display!! Denise and her daughter Jes who is soon to graduate from college and become a partner(!) are a design company that does amazing work with decorating for your big day, they have great taste and I love working with them since I feel that our styles and products really compliment each other.
For the show, Denise and Jes set up 3 tables to highlight the different styles they can design to achieve your perfect look. So where do I come into all of this? I created some paper and stationery items such as table numbers, wine labels, menu cards and a matching invite for each setting to tie in the look. (so fun!)
ps- don’t mind the green, purple and pink lighting that was reflecting off from the crazy light display from the DJ in the next booth over 🙂

Look # 1 – Eggplant, Silver and Charcoal metallic. A classic look for the platinum bride, but a mix.. Eggplant and silver is so elegant for a wedding and the platinum candle holders make the whole look pop!
Look # 2 – Pink and Ivory Vintage Romantic This one is my favorite- I can picture this setting being outdoors with the hanging lanterns, burlap flowers and gorgeous color combo to create that light and airy feel!

Look # 3 – Everything Purple in Modern Elegance From Dark to light, purple is so popular and when you pair it with crystals and bling it is even better! If you are a modern bride wanting some sparkle I think this is for you.

So now you know what I mean when you see all the goodness you are missing out on when it comes to wedding shows! Denise and Jes do such a fabulous job and I was so honored to help them polish off their looks.
